Surprisingly Good!
By LKnomad - August 31, 2010I conciser myself pretty internet saavy so when I saw this book I thought I would just download a sample to my Kindle, take a peek, then delete it. What could it possibly teach me that I don't already know?
The answer is: quite a bit.
While this book deals with several forms of social networking, I concentrated on the chapters about LinkedIn. This was a network that I had not tapped into and I didn't realize how powerful it was. When I started the book I had two contacts which were basically friends. As I went through each chapter I followed the suggestions until I had a very good profile. Then I started to look around and realized that there were quite a few people I could connect to. Now my network is growing and since I am just starting out in the job market I got onto LinkedIn just in time. I think it will make a very big difference.
