Organizational Behavior, Eighth Edition, continues in its tradition of being an up-to-date, relevant and user-driven textbook. Kreitner and Kinicki’s approach to organizational behavior is based on the authors’ belief that reading a comprehensive textbook is hard work, but that the process should be interesting and sometimes fun. The cover again depicts the well-known Wolf brand, but this time with a black and white illustration of two wolves. This remains a central theme because Kreitner and Kinicki see wolves as an instructive and inspiring metaphor for modern Organizational Behavior. Wolves are dedicated team players, great communicators, and adaptable. These are key success attributes in today’s workplace.

Easy to Read

I was required to buy the book for a class and I'm only halfway through, but the reading is never an issue. It's not boring and it reads quickly. Most of it seems like common sense, but, like I said, as required reading it goes quickly.

The text is very concise and easy to follow. It would have been beneficial to have the publishers on line tutorial abilities included with the original price of the book. Those have been a tremendous assest to me, more so than the actual textbook. The ability to download to my Ipod and listen on my commute is very beneficial.

Wikipedia is not an appropriate source of information for use in a textbook

This book was required for my organizational behavior class.

I have been severely disappointed with the book so far.

Like my title says, the book cites Wikipedia as a source; that alone was enough for a one-star rating.

Here's a choice quote from the book: "Thanks to Web 2.0, we are empowered to be in more than one place at once and collaborate at will."

My opinion of the book is that is filled fluff and is not at all well suited for a serious introduction to the topic of organizational behavior.
