Poor quality bookbinding!
By Matthew Jenks "MJ3nks" - May 21, 2010I question whether this book is really a book sold by Prentice Hall or some knockoff! Book pages started to fall out intermediately and the pages look like they are printed from a low quality copy machine.
I do not recommend getting this version of the book!

By Chad Bieber - February 8, 2008I am only through the first three chapters, for anyone with a microcontroller background, these will be review. For me, they are a necessity. With sections covering C programming, it is exactly what I needed in a textbook for a mechatronics class that expects me to be familiar with C.
Highly recommend for someone working outside their normal field. I do not know enough, and am not far enough into the book, to know how useful it would be for someone with in depth programming/electronics background.
