This Book Will Get You the Score You Need

I had purchased this book after two years of being a pharmacy technician in a retail pharmacy. I wanted to know if this book really would help me pass the exam, but at the time there were hardly any reviews on it. This book was great and I only studied two weeks with it and passed the exam. However, be warned that I had over two years of previous experience in the field that helped me when the exam asked me generic names of medication. This book goes over the top 200 drugs and their brand and generic names. If you are trying to become certified and want a book that will meet all of your needs, this is the one to use. There were a few typos in the math section (which you will figure out immediately because the answer key and the question will not match, the answer key is correct). I HIGHLY recommend using the CD that comes with the book because it has practice tests that really are similar to the actual certification exam. i studied this book for 2 weeks, and used pharmacy-tech-study.com and youtube and passed the exam. Awesome book. had many practice tests and glossary and also goes over everything on the exam fairly well.

This book was very helpful.

There was a little typo here & there but it explains the answers really well. I would say at least 50 % of the questions on the PTCB exam was similar to their practice tests.
