Electromagnetic Fields in Electrical Engineering

This book contains a selection of the best papers presented at the International Symposium on Electromagnetic Fields in Electrical Engineering, held in Lodz, Poland in September 1989. It comprises 55 papers by experts from a wide range of countries and organizations around the world. The papers given at the symposium are grouped into sections on general computational methods, eddy currents, power transformers, special transformers, induction machines, synchronous machines, special machines, and mechanical and thermal effects.
