This book grabbed me in the first chapter and i had a hard time putting the book down to do anything else.This was the first time i had read a book from this author and i have already ordered another book to read that she has wrote.

My friend bought me "Even Now" / "Ever After" when I'd injured my back and had to stay in bed for weeks. I couldn't put it down! These are the only Karen Kingsbury books I've read, but--at least in these books--she does an amazing job of helping you connect with the characters. I literally felt what they were feeling. There were times that I laughed, and there was one point where I was crying so hard that I couldn't see the pages. I didn't expect the endings at all, and I think that's one of the reasons I enjoyed the books so much--they seemed so real. I would highly recommend both of these books to any woman.
