Love it!

My 6 year old loves it! It was a kindergarten graduation present and you would have thought I bought her the world! The fact that it is girly (the purple one) is great because it fits her personality. The purple is even a little sparkly which wins brownie points too. She likes the fact that it's like mom and dad's and doesn't really look like a kid bible like a lot of them that have hard covers and cartoon pictures on the front. Inside, the extra's are fun to read and thought provoking. It's nice that each book has an introduction page so they know when and who and why. She still needs help reading most of it...but soon should be able to go solo. Know she likes to put a bookmark on the page with her verse for each week so she can practice looking up the book, chapter, and verse. I was concerned that the soft cover wouldn't be very durable, but she is a girly girl and is pretty careful and there's not been any issues. NIV Adventure Bible - Purple w/bungee cord

Bought this for my 10 year old daughter for Easter and she loves it, loves having her own big girl Bible. Purple is her favorite color and it has a little sparkle to it which she thinks is cool. The print is not too small like many kid's Bibles and it has some nice added commentary to help her understand things from a young lady's perspective. It's made to be read and to learn about God, not just a cool looking Bible she can cart to church. Bungee cord seems rugged enough but if it breaks it can be easily removed and you'd never know it was ever there. I would recommend it this Bible for any girl age 10 and up.
