Harrowing Sudoko

Excellent for advanced players. It starts out with Demanding level puzzles and goes to Beware! Very Challenging. A total of 335 puzzles split between the two categories.

The BEST Sudoku book ever!

I buy these in bulk - they are so fun and extremely challenging (but doable). The hard cover makes a good writing surface and there's enough white space on the page to make the notes you need to complete the "harrowing" puzzles. I use a box cutter to remove the cover over the spiral binding so I can flip the book around (otherwise the spiral seems a bit pointless).

I've been playing these for years and they're still fun; far better than any others I've found! They are definitely difficult and at first seem impossible, but if you get the Little Black Book of Sudoku by Will Shortz and practice until you're able to do the more difficult puzzles, you'll love this. There are 335 puzzles, divided pretty much equally between "Demanding" and "Beware! Very Challenging". DANG this is hard!

the title pretty much says it all. i'm a pretty intelligent person (hopefully) and do a lot of sudoku. For some reason (lack of extra-smart brain cells on my part?) this book is a bit too hard for me. I like the size and the spiral bound backing, makes it easy to work with, but will shortz has me with this one. A little toooooo challenging! better luck to you!
