\nThis industrialized food system favors the production of animal products and highly-refined, calorie-
\ndense foods, rather than fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains, and other high fiber foods important
\nfor health. It is a food system misaligned with the US dietary guidelines. Moreover, hidden behind these
\nnutritional imbalances and inextricably linked to them, is a food system largely reliant on methods of
\nproduction and distribution that negatively affect human and
