EDITING ERROR IN THIRD PARTY BENEFICIARY LAW

GET THE 2ND EDITION IF YOU CAN!!

There is an editing error on the third edition on the section on Third Party Beneficiaries. 2:32 into the section, the discussion on 3rd party beneficiaries suddenly ends, and there's about 3 minutes re-hash of the last few minutes of the section on the Parol Evidence rule from earlier in the lecture.

I personally contacted Thomson West about the issue, and they told me to send it back to where I purchased it from (AMAZON.com) and have them send me a new one "without the defect". I ended up not doing so, when I asked my class to check their copies, and 7 or 8 classmates also had purchased the 3rd edition discovered the same error on theirs. I contacted Thomson West again, and they thanked me for catching the editing error and assured me that they would look into it. I eventually obtained a copy of the 2nd edition from another source, and the substance is virtually identical, so there is no need to purchase the 3rd edition if... read more

Whaley is really good, but either they recorded near Camp Pendelton during artillery practice or he keeps kicking the mic stand during the lecture.

I found these Cds to be very helpful and easy to listen to. I get tired of constantly reading in law school and it is a nice change of pace to have something to listen to. Whaley knows what he is talking about and does a great job.
