great book in a wonderful series!

i had to purchase this book for a web design course that i'm taking, and it is extremely useful. prior to this, i have purchased past versions of visual quick start guides for older versions of various adobe products and i have always been impressed. this is a wonderful guide for newbies who have never used dreamweaver before!

Intuitive

I picked up a variety of CS5 books, and have yet to find the silver bullet that will put me in the driver's seat. This book was close. It has a lot of great explanations and examples. I'm glad I own it. It's a good reference piece.

QUICKSTARTS are the best

Every time I miss a few versions of software updates, I like to finally "catch-up" with all the new features. I found myself going back to my tried and true QuickStart Guides when I upgraded to CS5.5. They're comprehensive, concise and easy to find your way around in. I'm always working, so when I have a question that needs to be answered NOW, I just find it in the index, read that section quickly and I'm up and running. I also purchased InDesign as well and if I had lots of money, would have purchased all the books to cover the entire CS5 suite. There's lots of "How-To" software books but I just like these the best!
