Concise and Insightful

It is not very detailed which is great in that it gives an overall picture and lays the foundation for understanding neuroscience. I very rarely need to reference other books due to the completeness of this book. I would recommend this to anyone who is seeking clarification or the overall picture of neuro. Enjoy
Excellent introduction into neuroscience
By DT2014 - January 19, 2011I have no background in neuro, and before I started the course for medical school, I read through most of this book over my break, and have used it throughout the course. I also think it will be great review for Step 1. It is an easy read, and is great for the basics. It also gives some good clinical correlations. It is a review book though, so if you are more of an expert on the subject, it will not go into enough detail for you.
