Low Back and Neck Pain

The purpose of this book is to point out the actual mechanical alterations of the spine which are the primary causes of low back and neck pain, and to minimize the false, prevalent idea that these are the result of mental anxiety or tension. It is written in lay terms so that it can be read and reread until the principles involved are understood. It would require almost one hour of the physician's time to explain this material, even in an abbreviated form. After the diagnosis has been made and explanation of the x-ray changes given, the doctor should be able to prescribe this publication and thereby gain the patient's full cooperation in following through with the postural positions and daily exercises as recommended.
