An excellent study on cranial osteopathy
By Osteopathic Family Doc - October 21, 2012This book is an excellent combination of both a thorough review of cranial osteopathy and a detailed study of the application of cranial osteopathy to the care of infants and children. The illustrations and pictures are plentiful and helpful. It is clearly written by someone with years of practice treating children with cranial osteopathy. The author's remarks in the treatment sections are particularly helpful. This is more than a textbook. It is a text plus many seminars worth of information collected into a single very practical book.

It discusses the somatic dysfunctions, and their origins, that are responsible for, or contributes significantly to, an extremely broad spectrum of pediatric clinical presentations. Additionally it provides one of the most inclusive and insightful considerations of the functional (and dysfunctional) interrelationship between maternal and foetal anatomy in the context of the prenatal period and the birth process.
