Reference that is worth it's weight in Gold

A valuable refernce for any organic chemist in the early years of a career in industry or as a graduate student. Aviods being bogged down in quantum theory and explains NMR in a clear concise manner. I have read the first 1/3 and couldn't be more pleased. I would also recommend Andrew Derome as well.

Conceptual approach very helpful for the uninitiated

Macomber's book does not presume a rigorous practical or theoretical background in NMR for the reader. It is an invaluable first step for students and self-teachers of NMR. It is an excellent gateway to more intensive or mathematical texts.
