By wesley richard - June 16, 2000Perfect for anyone who wants to read Goethe's peotry in German and understand it as well. For those familar with the German language, Goethe isn't the easiest writer to understand in German.
A very good translation

While I am familiar with Goethe's poems in German, with this translation I have a better understanding and deeper appreciation for the poets as well as the poems. I'd definitely recommend this book to students and all lovers of poetry.
