Problems Don't Match the Ones in the Textbook
By Kenneth P - June 12, 2011All of the odd problems from the text CAN be found in the solution manual, BUT they have to be FOUND. That is, the problems for the 5th edition text book are NOT located in the corresponding chapter of the solution manual. In fact, the chapters are not even the same nor in the same order. You have to look (i.e. search) for answers to the chapter 2 problems, which might be in chapter 1...or chapter 5. You just don't know. It appears to me that someone took the cover off of a fourth edition of the solutions manual and replaced it with a fifth edition cover without actually changing any of the internal contents.
Good book
By W. Li "Wei" - January 15, 2010I am a math tutor. I use this book for tutoring high school students. It does not have explanations for the steps, but overall it is a good book to have if you are taking the class or tutoring the class.
wrong book
By Mindi Pulsipher - February 8, 2013this was not the solution book i ordered,when i ordered the solution book it showed it was the one i needed but after waiting a month to get it i had to find another one faster. but for the five bucks i paid for it wasnt worth shipping it back so i am donating it to a school instead.
