I really love this book! It has helped me get serious about getting back into shape. There is intro information, and then the book walks you through a 90 day fitness, eating and attitude challenge.
I have found it to be extremely helpful and encouraging. Phil and Amy are down-to-earth, and it is wonderful to hear about their experience on The Biggest Loser and beyond.
It also helped me really ramp up my workouts, as I didn't realize that on The Biggest Loser they are all basically exercising 8 hours a day, plus maintaining low-calorie eating plans (1,200 calories for gals, 1,800 for guys per day). I'm now doing morning and evening workouts, as well as walking during lunch at work when I'm able to. It has helped significantly with shedding pounds and inches faster.
At first I thought the religious overtones of this book would bother me, but then I started to enjoy that as another part of my journey.
Despite all the godly phrases this is a great book to help you lose weight to, its a personal trainer and diary rolled into one
