Simple & Easy to Use!

Not so useful

It teaches you to say Hello for example but doesnt teach you how to reply to that hello. I personally didnt see useful at all, and i have listened to it once and didnt even finish the first part.
Strong introductory course for Audio
By Almelle - June 2, 2011First off, let me say that it's hard for me to learn things all by audio as I'm used to written texts, and would really prefer a written text to make sure that I can recognize in print what I can recognize by hearing. So I was skeptical about working with Pimsleur, although it has a great reputation.
But, I found the lessons enjoyable, started picking up the grammar from the contexts they introduced, and appreciate the conversational style as well as the high level of repetition -- not so much that I got bored, but enough that I'm retaining information from day-to-day. I even find phrases running through my head later in the day without even trying, so it's great to find such recall!
This only has ten days' worth of half-hour lessons, but I believe they give a discount on the whole thirty-day package to make up for trying the smaller package first!
