I have bought and read dozens of computer books for various programs. Nobody does it like Nigel! I actually read this manual cover to cover and couldn't put it down. His writing is personable and witty, his organization is "intuitively correct" (just as you are thinking a question, he gives you the answer), and his tips and tactics are SO HELPFUL! PageMaker was very intimidating to me because I was used to amateur programs that do most functions automatically. No offense to Aldus, but their manual made things worse. It was confusing and assumed that I knew things I didn't. Nigel was exactly the teacher I needed. I learned PageMaker's functions easily and even learned how to deal with tricky issues as they arise. I highly recommend this book to anyone who owns PageMaker or is thinking of buying it.
