Book 2 in Sharon Sala's Searchers series continues with youngest sister Savannah Slade. At his death Andrew, a wealthy Missoula cattle rancher has provided journals to each of his daughters, explaining the circumstances of their birth. In twenty-two-year-old Savannah's case, her birth mother Chloe, dying of cancer, entrusted her tiny daughter to then evangelist Andrew, to keep her safe. Savannah's real father Gerald, heir to the Stoss family fortune, was prepared to acknowledge her as his daughter and heir, however, greedy family members had him killed and then threatened Chloe, should she try to install her daughter as heiress.

Savannah sets out for Miami, FL on a mission to discover what happened to Chloe and to show evidence that Gerald Stoss may have been murdered, a plan that draws resistance from boyfriend and fellow rancher Judd Holyfield. The Searchers - Book 2 - Well Written!

Book 2 of the Searchers continues the story of three sisters who receive information from their father, after his death, letting them know that they are all adopted (but not legally), they are not really sisters and each of them were in danger when they were given to their father, a minister at the time, for their safety.

Savannah Slade finds out that she is the daughter of the oldest son of the Wealthy Stoss family. Her parents were not married but when her mother finds she is dying from cancer, she contacts Savannah's father who agrees to take over care of Savannah and care for her mother during her final days. Unfortunately, before he can make those arrangements, he is killed in a car accident.
