Great book!

When I came across this in the bookstore I was going through some tough times, dealing with old wounds that never really healed. I went through this book and -- Wow!! It takes a lot of thought, so I plan on going through it again, but she had some excellent points that really made a difference. One thing that she pointed out was that even though she lists "steps" you don't have to go in order, and you'll often revisit them in your life. I liked how she gave suggestions without some "magic formula" that promised instant healing... because life's not like that!

A Life Changing Book!

A friend recommended this book to me and was also kind enough to give me a copy. I had read one of Stormie's other books and liked it very much. I had seen this book in Christian bookstores, but never thought of purchasing it. But as soon as I read the back cover, I couldn't wait to read it. I can honestly say that this book has changed my life. It has helped me to get a more accurate view of both myself and God. One of the things I like best about this book is Stormie's transparency and honesty about her own struggles and failures. She tells it like it is and doesn't sugarcoat it. This book has given me hope that I too, can reach a place of emotional wholeness and restoration. Another thing that I really like about this book is that Stormie tells her readers upfront that she isn't offering a quick fix. Such a Blessing

This book has been more than a blessing to me - spiritually & emotionally. It has helped me to grow and identify with issues within my spiritual walk in a meaningful way. I am a different person and I know the Lord led me to this book for a reason. I cant wait to read another book of hers. Its been awesome and a true testimony !!

I suggest EVERYONE read this book and take steps to becoming WHOLE !!
