This text is very helpful in reviewing and evaluating research to enable evidence-based nursing practice. Purchased book for class, and have been using frequently.

Monkey Business

They say a thousand monkeys typing randomly will eventually compose the entire works of Shakespeare. That's false because this book is actually the result of a thousand monkeys typing at random. You could not pay me enough money to convince me that this book was in any way, shape, or form edited before it was published. Oh, and in many places the information is downright wrong. If you have any previous experience with research this book will incite a fiery rage within your being that can be only stoked by the subsequent loss of brain cells caused by reading it. Disturbingly, I found out my school uses this same book for their graduate level research course. That's odd because had I lived in Salem back in the day I wouldn't have even defiled a witch burning by using this book as fuel.

Jumbled mess

This book makes no sense. Even if you read and reread it is so difficult to make sense of anything. Save yourself the time and money and go with a different book.
