In Search of Poland: The Superpowers' Response to Solidarity, 1980-1989 (P Series 376)

Solidarity, Arthur Rachwald concludes, was the weight that tipped the scales toward democracy as Poland balanced precariously between democracy and Marxist-Leninst totalitarianism.
