I bought this book after reading the reviews. I am going to do my practicum in September and wanted to prepare myself for it. This book contained very general information. It is like a vague summary of what I learned in my first few counseling classes. What I disliked the most about this book is that it is quite short! By having this manual in my hands it has alleviate much anxiety! This manual helps clarify many of the questions I have had before my practicum/internship. This manual should always remain a part of the professional counselors library!
