Good review, but not for high school students
By P. Lebron - September 26, 2005As a teacher, I find this an excellent resourse. For my students, though, it is frustrating. There is no central glossary, so my students are constantly asking what some words mean. Yes, there are extensive vocabulary lists within the chapters, but for high school students, a full vocabulary in the back of the book is much better than loaning dictionaries.
Also, the explanations are often confusing, even for me, and I have a Master's in Spanish!
This book has what the dictionary won't tell you!
By "tornadowarning" - February 2, 2001I've used this book for my Spanish IV class this year, and I plan on purchasing one of my own to take to college next year. Not only does it contain all the verb conjugations, but it also goes into the common mistakes made when learning Spanish, and each section has examples and practice problems. It's a great reference material!
