Good simplistic ideas

When I got this book I was hoping to learn some new games to play with my baby. My expectations were too high. While this book has a lot of good thoughts, I didn't necessarily learn any new games. Of course, I've been playing games for years and have actually built a prototype of my own game. From this book I learned there aren't many simplistic gaming concepts that I haven't already picked up in some form or another. If the concept of "play" is difficult for you, this book will help. If you have a natural "play" attitude, you'll find this book will reinforce much about what you already know and believe about how to play.
