LEED BD&C MOCK EXAM: Questions, Answers, and Explanations: A Must-Have for the LEED AP BD+C Exam, Green Building LEED Certification, and Sustainability
Pass the LEED AP BD+C Exam, Get Your Building LEED Certified, Fight Global Warming, and Save Money!
Starting on December 1, 2011, GBCI began to draw LEED AP BD+C Exam questions from the second edition of Green Building and LEED Core Concepts Guide. We have incorporated this latest information in our books.
LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is one of the most important trends in development and is revolutionizing the construction industry. It has gained tremendous momentum and has a profound impact on our environment. "LEED BD&CExam Guide" (1st edition) has been a tremendous success. We have split the mock exam portion as a separate book, "LEED BD&CMock Exam," per the readers' request.
From this book, you will be able to: 1. Identify your weakness through practice questions 2. Learn to work well under the pressure of timed tests 3. Check your responses against the solutions 4. Understand the solutions for the difficult questions through the explanations 5. Fully understand the scope, difficulty level, and format of the LEED AP O+M Exam 6. Learn how to pass the LEED O&M Exam
There is NO official GBCI book on the LEED AP BD+C Exam. "LEED O&M Mock Exam" fills in the blanks and demystifies LEED. The book includes 200 questions and simulates the real exam in every aspect, including scope, difficulty level, format, and number of questions in each LEED category. It includes questions, answers, and explanations. This book is small and easy to carry around. You can read it whenever you have spare minutes. It is an indispensable resource for ordinary people, developers, brokers, contractors, administrators, architects, landscape architects, engineers, interns, drafters, designers, and other design professionals.
Note: See posts under the Customer Discussion Section of at the lower portion of this page for tips on the easiest way to pass the LEED AP BD+C Exam
This book needs to be edited BAD!!!!!
By ncbjeepin8 - October 14, 2011
This book is riddled with mistakes. On numerous occasions, the question will ask to (choose 3) answers and when you flip to the answer legend it only shows 2 answers. That is pretty bad when you have trick you brain into guessing a wrong answer.
My favorite is question 127:
Which of the following statements is not true with regard to SSc4.1: Alternative Transportation : Public Transportation Access? (Choose 3) a. A project team can achieve 4 points for NC, CS, and Schools b. A project team can achieve 4 points for NC and CS, 6 points for Schools c. A project team can achieve 6 points for NC and CS, 4 points for Schools d. None of the above
So... if I choose ABC that means all of them are not true, so D is a correct too, but if I chose ABE like the answer key says, then it means none of the above are true, so again the answer is ABCD.

No longer applicable

This book is no longer applicable for the LEED 2009 exam. It was written for LEED 2.0 and he did not change the questions to reflect the changes for LEED 2009. Some of the credits have been split up, deleted, new ones were created, and so some of the questions either don't apply or the indicated answer is no longer correct. This was okay for studying but be careful that you ensure which questions are no longer applicable.
Not even close!!
By W.D. - February 22, 2012
This book needs an awful lot of work!! The questions are not descriptive of the ones in the actual exam. Not even close, either in their structure nor their format. I Bought this book on faith, only to be painfully disappointed on the first page. The author may be knowledgeable enough to pass the exam but, obviously needs to spend more time in designing questions(and answers)that mirror the actual exam.
