Incredible read!

This is an excellent book which really helped me to understand how Jesus fulfilled the prophecies concerning the Messiah. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to deepen their faith, discern the truthfulness of Christianity, or determine whether or not Jesus is in fact the Messiah. Well written with much research and insight. I would recommend it broadly.

I have read through "The Messiah" and have loved every bit of it. It gave me so much to think about and added so much to what I already knew.

To say Dr. Varner has a unique understanding of the Jewish mindset and their expectation of a Messiah would be an understatement. One look into his background reveals a man dedicated and immersed in the Jewish culture. His mission is to challenge Christians to understand their Jewish roots and the Jewish roots of their Messiah and likewise to challenge Jews to delve into their preconceived interpretation of the promised messiah. "The Messiah" is a book of revelation. In its pages lies the truth about the Messiah. This book begins to reveal the person and character of the Messiah starting at the beginning of time. Dr. Varner takes us through history and uncovers His identity.
