Not only there are many many beautiful messages , precise concepts but also it is the most practical and really helpful book I have read on these subjects up to now. This is the first book where I have found an excellent guidance, a road to follow, and schematic ways that allow you to understand your mind a lot better!! and specially how to work to diminish our mind inflicted suffering!
This book came to me, when I was truly trying to understand my mind and its functioning; why I was unable to master it, so that I could live in this "moment". For years I had been a keen student of understanding the science behind spirituality and all the positive messages that were weaned on by our parents, elders and teachers.
This book was God sent to me as it simply answered my queries. What fascinated me to read this book was the fact that a medical doctor who was steeped in science and his training of wanting evidence was writing about "awareness", "improving quality of life", "getting in touch with your true self" was practicing all the above in his own life. This whetted my curosity to delve deeper.

Great accompany workbook for the AIT book also by Dr. Sood. I have done some study regarding mindfulness, and my biggest complaint is that there aren't practical exercises to integrate mindfulness concepts into daily life. This book fills that gap. Dr. Sood does a lovely job of providing suggestions for realistic mindfulness practice, but it isn't an all or nothing approach. Dr. Sood reinforces doing what you feasibly can at the time. I also like that all concepts are rooted in neuroscience. Reading the workbook (and the book) and implementing some of the practices can greatly improve your outlook, mood, and life.
