If you are looking for information about early MR2s, related details about turbo charging and autocrossing, you may find exactly what you want in this book. However, if you want serious information about the later MR2 Spyder there is far less information and fewer pages are devoted to it.

Page 116: "When swapping a new engine into the MR2 Spyder, most folks reach for the 2ZZ-GE from the Celica GT-S, the powerplant many owners felt should've been in the car all along." So, details on this engine swap could have been extremely useful. Instead, there is an article on swapping a Honda engine into an MR2 Spyder, lacking details.

Nice book, almost what I wanted.
