Technical Manual

Wonderfully detailed with descriptive text and diagrams. It also contains what I'd consider to be "Basic Maintenance for Dummies." If you know nothing about taking care of a vehicle, this book will give you a nice premier on very basic upkeep. If you have a 2001-2003 PT Cruiser, and tools, you should probably purchase this book!
Next best thing to the shop manual
By J. Clawson "jclawman" - December 9, 2007Used this manual several times since purchase, some for fairly intense repairs including replacing EGR valve and replacing wheel bearings with good results. I have also used it for smaller jobs like sparkplugs (you realize you have to take the intake manifold off to change them?!?). The step by step directions are mostly clear and the photos help too but could be of better quality. One thing missing is that this book is short on diagnostics. The manual seems to cover all systems and has an appropriate level of detail and I would recommend it for the medium to hard core DIYer.
It was in great condition! It took forever to get here.

I needed to look up windshield wiper squirters. They weren't in there!! So I checked in the competitor's book; not there either!! Too funny!! I always keep a car care manual of my car in my car. I was very pleased to get the Chilton, the best in the business for my car at a great price!
