Beautiful Designs & Pictures---A Must Have Book For All Quilters! An Instant Favorite!

The first time I started browsing its pages, I began at the beginning and was so captivated by the gorgeous quilts that I couldn't put it down until I had looked through to the end! There's something for the eager beginners but also ideas & layouts for the more advanced quilters---all will be more than thrilled with the patterns. As a novice quilter, I needed a book with projects that didn't require tons of knowledge but would still be stunning when finished---this book was clearly the answer! The designs are beautiful & unique, the pictures of each project are amazing, and the directions are clearly explained with diagrams that are very helpful---this book has it all! Bisel also gives great ideas on fabric and color choice. Almost every project featured is so beautiful that I can't wait to get started---I will be making many quilts from this book, no doubt!
I do not quilt, but this might get me addicted!!!

But when I saw Sarah's book with the fun and fresh patterns, I fell in love with her style and I wanted to try it out. Now that I have the book in my hands, I KNOW that I will be able to make some new and exciting quilts. Sarah is so descriptive with her tutorials, and as I read through them, I thought, "I can do this!" She has created patterns that both a beginner like me, as well as someone more advanced can enjoy. I can't wait to get started!

By tucazbec - July 13, 2010I am fairly new to the quilting world, and I have had a hard time finding quilts that are more updated to my tastes and styles. This book is exactly what I am looking for as far as a more modern spin on quilting. I like that this book has a couple of chapters in the beginning that explain colors and how to choose fabric. That helps someone like me that is new to quilting. I also like that they are fast for a busy mom of three like me! I highly recommend this one.
