What a Load!
By C - July 4, 2007This book has a great format...well written and easy to understand. There are some great focusing tips at the end of each chapter such as "Critical Thinking" and many up to date charts that instructors love! I give this book a 4 because of the weight...it is really hard to carry from class to class. One might want to buy this book as two...they're selling them this way now.

When I found the same text in 2 volume form, I quickly put an order in and returned the initial buy......AND I am soooo happy i did!!!! It is much better to carry.

I have been waiting for 2 years for the price to come down and bought this because of the standard that is part of lipincott, Williams & Wilkins. The info in this textbook will never be outdated. It is well organized & structured. Many nursing textbooks leave out very important information. This set has everything from a to z. I will never regret purchasing this used set for $25 which included the cd's unopened & the code for additional Internet access unused. My daughter is preparing to enter the nursing program & she will be able to utilize this excellent textbook in addition to that which the college will require. This is a reference book to keep!
