Sometimes life is like reading a book.
Days, weeks, even years just
repeat themselves...
until you turn the page.
The Universe returns in this second volume of Notes from the Universe, overflowing with even more valuable reminders of the absolute power you have over your life. Whether opened at random or read from front to back, the powerful affirmations penned by author Mike Dooley will have you once again thinking positively, feeling confident, and walking the path to personal fulfillment.
It's never been easier, with the inspiration and empowerment of the Universe's eternal love open-ing all the doors. The secret to manifesting change was unlocked in the first book of the Notes from the Universe trilogy, and the lessons continue here, drawing you ever closer to the life you always dreamed you would live.
I really loved Mike Dooley's first Notes from the Universe book, and I wondered if this one would be able to live up to the first book. It definitely does!
He writes from the perspective of God, or the Universe, in a very upbeat, funny way. The book can be read cover to cover (it's a pretty quick read), or you can just randomly turn to a given page, since it's a collection of "notes" from the Universe.
The notes from the Universe remind readers that we have power over our lives by believing in ourselves and trusting in God. It's clearly a loving book, but also one that is very funny. I'll give you two examples, so you'll get the gist of his writing style:
---"Home runs are what I do. You just pitch. You want a new job, pitch it to me. You want more friends, pitch it to me. You want to lose weight, improve relationships, or strike it rich, pitch it to me. There's nothing you can throw that I can't hit clear out of the park. Now, please, hand... read more
I have the first 'notes from the universe' and this is a wonderful follow up. Reading these 'notes' as a daily meditation makes you feel like possibilities are endless!
I loved the first "Notes from the Universe" book by Mike Dooley, but this one is even better! Whenever I am discouraged, confused, depressed, whatever... I can open this book to ANY page and feel renewed. I love this book so much that I ordered copies for friends and relatives. It is a whole new way of looking at life, and it's all good. It transcends all religions, as it is totally "universal!"
