Just Do It!

Kachur's book includes clear text that provides a solid foundation for the purpose and benefits of this leadership tool. Multiple ways to structure and accomplish classroom walkthroughs are outlined in the book providing something meaningful and useful for all leadership types and styles. As a "just do it" principal, I was pleased to find many ways to get started and many more ways to further develop my skills in this area. This book is a "must buy" for administrators who seek ways to continuously improve.

The authors do a real nice job presenting a wide variety of walkthrough models to give the reader many ideas for creating one's own model to meet an individual school's or district's needs and culture. In this one book, there is a summary of many of the prevalent walkthrough models in the field and sources for more information on each of those models.
