This is the definitive edition of the "Hebrew Bible". It is the original language edition most widely-used by scholars. It is a revision of the third edition of the "Biblia Hebraica" the first Bible to be based on the "Leningrad Codex" (the oldest complete "Hebrew Bible" still preserved). It includes a foreword in German, English, French, Spanish and Latin as well as an English and German key to the Latin words, abbreviations and other symbols in the critical apparatus. It includes a wide margin for professors and students to make notes as they translate the Hebrew scriptures.

Small Font

The size of Hebrew font in this text is identical to Paperback Edition and Hebrew edition. Although the content is identical to the Standard Edition, the text size is not identical to Standard Edition. So if you are trying to find a hebrew bible with bigger font, this is NOT the one you may want to consider buying.

Perfect condition, got here earlier than expected. Note this is NOT the large print edition. I think it is slightly larger than the standard edition, but with much bigger margins, but NOT the large print. I still recommend large print for your eyes, because the text critical marks get
jammed with the vowel points.

In any case, great seller, perfect transaction!

Just What I Was Looking For

I'm just learning Hebrew and was looking for something that would be easy enough to use now, but also comprehensive enough to use in the years to come. This seems to be just what I was looking for.

Also, the margins are nice and wide, and the binding is good.
