Every young boy's dream - adults as well - would be to find a treasure trove and solve a crime at the same time.This book allows the young reader to dream of doing just that. I bought the book for my grandson a month prior to his birthday as unbeknownst to him he will be receiving a metal detector on his actual birthday. My grandson is 9 years old and an avid and enthusiastic reader - this book's vocabulary and setting was perfect for his age group and ability. I look forward to introducing him to the many other books written by this author.
