Taylor hits the button

Steven Taylor has produced a text that more than fulfills its title, since it serves as a clinician's guide but underpins that with a sound evaluation of the available research. An excellent book for clinicians and grad students wanting to learn about CBT and PTSD interventions. We are using this as one of the texts for training clinicians to treat PTSD in post-conflict Georgia and it has proven its worth.

Great book

The book is great and the information is still current 2010. For the price of an older edition it was just an incredible buy. As a 20 year seasoned clinican I would highly reccomend.

Excellent Read

I found this book easy to read, insightful, clear, concise and hits points quickly without becoming lost in explanatory wording. Wasn't a fan of the deviation regarding exposure therapy, introducing interoceptive type, which for many with severe trauma could be re-traumatizing vs. beneficial, though overall extremely happy with the remainder of content and a recommended read.
