Understanding Parkinson's disease
This book will empower readers as they face the future. Parkinson's Disease: 300 Tips for Making Life Easier, 2nd Edition is an indispensable resource for patients, family, friends and caregivers.
I purchased 2 copies of this book after researching available books on the topic. Gave 1 to my step-dad and 1 to my mother-in-law. They both have found this book VERY helpful. My mother-in-law refers to almost daily. At her request I purchased a 3 copy for her nephew who also has this horrible disease. I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone who has the disease.
Among many helpful things the section on obsessive/compulsive behavior resulting from sinemet medication enabled me to adjust medication to reduce inappropriate behavior.
This is a great book. I had to learn through trial and error and with a lot of research ways to cope with Parkinson's i.e. make mobility, speech, and access easier. This would've saved me tons of time if I bought it earlier. And it gave me a lot of new ideas.
