PASSED MY CAPM EXAM ON THE FIRST ATTEMPT!

This Book: CAPM Exam Success Series: Bootcamp Manual (with Exam Simulation CD-ROM)did a great job of explaining the content of the PMBOK Guide 4th Ed. from PMI. I really would recommend this book for anyone who is planning on taking the CAPM exam. Content from the PMBOK Guide 4th Ed. can be cumbersome and overwhelming, but with the help of this book, i was able to better digest the info. You would find this book to be well organized, categorized in a logically and easy to follow format. Also the Simulated 150 Exam Questions and IITO practice questions are additional reason to buy this book instead of any other book out there. I studied for 4weeks for at least 4hrs per/day. And all the efforts and tools paid off! Tip: It is important that you THOROUGHLY read (for comprehension)the PMBOK Guide 4th from PMI before you start using any other study material. THIS BOOK IS TOO MUCH for CAPM

1. Too much for CAPM. At the several chapter of beginning, this book's context is ok to accept and read, but in the last several chapters, like cost, time, risk, HR, it includes too much, which a lot of context is not necessary for CAPM. If you don't have a lot of time for this exam, like me, it's not a good choice.

2. The characters are not very well arranged. If you read a lot, you may feel a little tired.

I highly recommend CAPM EXAM Quicklet and How to pass CAPM how you fisrt try, although it's made by PMI Guide 3rd edition. Plus PMI Guide, these 3 books can help you to understand the knowledge and pass the exam.

Looks good but has too much "Learn This"

The book started out strong introducing the CAPM program but quickly went downhill. There are a lot of "Learn This" notations but it does not say what to learn and does not provide a lot of information. There are a lot of diagrams but the book is very dry and found it to be boring enough that I had to stop reading it.
