No one ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American public.

People who actually believe in the real words of the constitution know that it says (amend. 14, sec.1)

"All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside."

Nothing about excluding someone because of their heritage or the nationality of either parent.

Sad that for so many people, hatred and fantasy have completely displaced their responsibility to be informed and thoughtful participants in the democracy. Even sadder that there are people unscrupulous enough to manipulate them for profit.

Stupidest Idea for a Book Ever?

Perhaps the most scholarly work of nonfiction ever written about a sitting president. I urge everyone to read this. Drop what it is your're doing, and make sure you continue to buy Donald Trump paraphernalia.

Insanity on display

Not on the part of the President, but on the part of the author. The author gives in to the moronic "birther" conspiracies about the President's birth and ignores all fact and reality. Never mind that the President released his full long-form birth certificate the year this book was published. The author, for some insipid reason, wants to believe (and moreoever, wants YOU to believe) that the President wasn't born in America. This book is basically libel. It's fun if you treat it like the fiction that it is. Otherwise, it's a sad commentary on the deteriorating mental states of the far-right.
