Espace physique entre mathématiques et philosophie (L')

Physicists, philosophers and mathematicians never stopped discussing and modifying the notion of space, questioning its status or its relevance: is it a reality or an illusion, a physical object or a metaphysical entity? The ontological status of physical space remains unspecified. This work – Acts of the Colloque of Cargese, 2001- focuses on these questions in the light of the latest knowledge in physics.
