Electronics Engineering (as Per UPTU Syllabus)

This work discusses what components are used in electronic circuits, future trends in electronics? etc. The last chapter gives the basic working principle of most commonly used electronic instruments. Although not prescribed in the syllabus, these two chapters have been included in this book so as to provide a better understanding of electronics. The salient features of the book are: each chapter starts with its objectives. The student knows what is expected of him after he goes through the chapter; conversational and easy-to-understand language is used. Wherever possible, metaphors are used to explain an idea; good number of solved examples is given. This helps the student in grasping the idea; the diagrams and illustrations are self-explanatory; the Summary given at the end of each chapter helps in reviewing the whole chapter in a short time; 'Check Your Understanding' at the end of each chapter gives a student a chance to find out how much he has grasped; and, the Review Questions and Multiple Choice Questions are helpful to a student in his self-evaluation.
