Simulations of the Effects of Climate Change

This last book in the series on climate change moves away slightly from the completely scientific tone adopted in the first three books, by presenting for the cases of destruction, fragmentation and degradation of the environment entailed by climate change. The idea behind this is to give a much more realistic approaches to the situation and wake up the reader to the truth in a starker manner. Extreme weather conditions including torrents, droughts, tsunamis etc. famines rise in number of endangered plant and animal species, submerged islands-all these form part of the life threatening consequences of global warming. Their increasing frequency of occurrence shows no signs of relenting, and with indiscriminate industrialization and urbanization, they would only on the ascension.
