Alkaline Acid Chart - Why Do You Need to Check One?

An alkaline acid chart can help you become healthy and keep diseases at bay. If you
have been struggling with your weight, mood swings, feeling weak all the time, and
getting prone to the common colds and other diseases, then you could be highly
acidic.

The reason you are feeling this way is your body is experiencing an imbalance. It has
become too acidic, which is mainly caused by the foods you eat. Today, most of the
stuff we put on our mouths have low nutritional value. A lot of them have
ingredients that are not good for the body.

Because of our unhealthy eating habits, we have, inadvertently, caused our body to
become under a tremendous amount of stress. The high acidic content of processed
foods that comprise most of our diets has thrown the body off balance. Our systems
are now unable to function well because their chemistry was altered in a major way.

Not a lot of people realize that feeling awful and getting sick have a lot to do with
food choices. The reason a lot of people are getting chronic and life-threatening
diseases is they do not watch what they eat. They have forgotten the importance of
consuming healthy stuff like fruits and vegetables. They have also neglected the
significance of eating moderately.

Unless we start to make the right food choices, we will not be able to regain the
energy we used to have and steer clear of diseases.

By eating right, we will be able to maintain a healthy acid and alkaline level in our
system.

What are acid and alkaline levels? These are two different environments the body
experiences when a certain group of food is consumed. Everything we eat is either
acidic or alkaline in nature.

Alkaline foodsare those that make the body's pH levels go beyond 7. Vegetables are
perfect examples of these. These are foods that we need to consume to bring down
the acidity of the body.

Foods that are alkaline in nature help avoid getting the system too acidic, which is
usually the cause of getting diseases like cancer. Most of the processed and pre-
packaged foods we eat mostly are acidic. These throw the body into an imbalance
and eventually make it prone to acquiring diseases.

To stay clear of any diseases, the body needs to achieve balance. That means the
body must not be too acidic. It needs to compensate for the excess of acid in the
system by having some alkaline.

This is why it is highly recommended that we have a daily dose of fruits and
vegetables. These are alkaline in nature. By having them alongside meat and other
foods you normally consume, the body is kept from becoming too acidic.

How do you know which foods are alkaline? It helps to check out a food chart on
alkaline acid foods.

The following are great examples of alkaline foods:

Avocado
Fresh lemon
Tomato
Lime
Carrot
Beet
Red radish
