An Open Letter To the Secretary of Jamal Mohamed College,

Well Mr. Secretary of Jamal Mohamed College,
I appreciate your courage to offer a public explanation for
terminating me from service in Jamal Mohamed College. It has no
facts. Half of them were mere baseless lies. The 'so-called' explanation
is to condemn Sivashanmugam as if the college has not violated any
regulation or code of conduct. You have the freedom to write as you
wish. But, be kind enough to furnish the following details so that the
public can make correct judgement on the nature of examinations
conducted by Jamal Mohamed College under the able leadership of the
principal M. Sheik Mohamed.
1. the name and designation of the professor who guided the M. Phil
(management studies) research for M. Sheik Mohamed, the
contraversial principal of Jamal Mohamed College. Isn't he the student
of M. Sheik Mohamed? Student guides the teacher!!!!!!
2. the name and designation of the professor who examined the M. Phil
(management studies) thesis and conducted vivo voce for which M.
Sheik Mohamed appeared. Isn't he a student of M. Sheik Mohamed?
Student examines the teacher!!!!!!!
3. the name and designation of the hall superintents who supervised
the theory examinations for which M. Sheik Mohamed appeared. Isn't
she the daughter in law of M. Sheik Mohamed? Daughter in law
supervises the examiantions!!!!!!!!!!!!
4. the dates of examinations for other candidates and the dates on
which M. Sheik Mohamed appeared for examinations. [His MBA degree
examinations were another story].

5. the names and designations of the officials who approved and paid
the remunerations for the examinations conducted for M. Sheik
Mohamed. Isn't M. Sheik Mohamed one of the signatories who
approves the remuneration for examinations? Student pays for his
examiners!!!!!!!!!!!!!
6. the names and designations of the signatories in the consolidated
marksheet which was issued to M. Sheik Mohamed. Isn't M. Sheik
Mohamed one of the signatories in the consolidated markstatement?
You are very clever in not publishing that particular contraversial
document.

7. If possible, publish the answer sheets of M. Sheik Mohamed.
8. the name of the chairman of board of studies for the MBA
department when M. Sheik Mohamed appeared for M. Phil
Management studies examinations. Student prepares the syllabus
for his studies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
9. the first ten pages (including declaration, certificate) of M. Sheik
Mohamed's M. Phil thesis.
10. the name of the HOD/Chairman/Director who signed the CIA mark
statement.

11. If possible, publish the copy of the Consolidated marksheet issued
to M. Sheik Mohamed.
The copies of untampered documents are already in public circulation.
Don't try to tamper records. Publish them in public through your
college website if you want Jamal Mohamed College is to be forgiven.
Else tender an unconditional public apology and resign from
the secretary post. You have to furnish them because you have
issued a public statement as if Sivashanmugam had made baseless
allegations to tarnish the name of Jamal Mohamed College. Secondly,
the college is answerable to public because it receieves funds from
both state and central government agencies to run the college.
If you cannot publish them, accept and declare that Jamal Mohamed
College is an institution of frauds. The Jamal Mohamed College has
terminated Sivashanmugam just because he is a hindu. There are no
other reasons behind it. There were several other professors who
raised this issue. But, no action has been taken against them. There
were no proper enquires. In the name of enquires, just 3 meaningless
questions. If you have free time, read the copy of the letter sent to the
Governor of Tamilnadu by one of the senior most professor in the

college. I got it from the press. It tells a lot about present day Jamal
Mohamed College.
You say that there is no connection between Principal and
Examination-Evaluation process. If this is the case, how come the
name of the principal occurs in the consolidated marksheet issued to
thousands of students? Why do students run after the principal to get
signature of the principal to reappear in the CIA examinations?
You have stated that the pamphlets were circulated by
Sivashanmugam. But, it is prepared and circulated by Student
Federation of India.
Mr. Secretary, you know that the currency of one country is not valid in
another country. But, the degrees and diplomas issued by the
universities in one countries is respected by the people in the another
country. Of course, the M. Phil degree elevated the status of M. Sheik
Mohamed. But, it has devalued the degrees and diplomas issued by
Indian Unversities and Colleges. It has dishonoured the Indian teachers
in the international scenario. For Sivashanmugam, India is more
important than Jamal Mohamed College. Of course, Jamal Mohamed
College has as anti-India attitude.
Am I not an Indian? Don't I have the right to question? Don't I have the
right to explain? Don't I have the right to write to University Grants
Commision? Am I not a teacher to address students? Don't I have the
right to inform the public about the crimes commited by an institution
defined by the society? Who is Jamal Mohamed College? Who are they
to deny my birth rights? Can the institutions within India have laws
which contradict with the Indian Constitution? How can Jamal Mohamed
College have laws which contradicts with the Indian Constitution? How
can Jamal Mohamed College deny my right to write to UGC? How can
Jamal Mohamed College deny my right to write to the Prime Minster of
India? How can Jamal Mohamed College deny my right to write to the
political leaders? Can an institution which denies all these rights
produce socially responsible citizens? Will it be a democratic
Institution? Will it be an academic institution? All these questions has
to be answered by Jamal Mohamed College administration if it wants to
save its reputation and honor. Just, merely terminating and
condemning Sivashanmugam will invite public wrath. If you stand for
truth, publish them. Else shut up your mouth. All are equal at the
face of law. Doesn't Islam teach you that?
Is there any Indian who still want to honor Jamal Mohamed College? Is
there anyone who still aspire to study in Jamal Mohamed College? Is
there anyone who still want to join and serve Jamal Mohamed College
with dignity? Many people may join just for the sake of money! Is there

anyone who still want to honour the students passing out from Jamal
Mohamed College? Is there anyone who still want to appreciate the
nature of examinations conducted by Jamal Mohamed College? Ask the
current students of Jamal Mohamed College! They will tell you in
volumes about the examinations conducted by Jamal Mohamed
College!!!!
Sivashanmugam is not an admininstrator, but he is a teacher. An
adminstrator may make several compromises in order to retain his
position. But, a teacher is the one who says right is right and wrong is
wrong. I am teacher. Whatever I did is right. I do not make any
compromise on my stand. I have nothing to gain or loose. I will be
recognized as teacher whether I am in Jamal Mohamed College or
elsewhere in the world.
