Summary
A very dry month with under 20mm of rain and only 5 days of rainfall. Many days experienced long spells of
sunshine, accompanied by southerly winds at times and high pressure, made April a very warm month. Above
average temperatures, especially daily maxima with a top temperature of 22.9°C on 23 April. Winds were light
throughout the month, peaking on the afternoon of 4 April at 13 mph gust (force 4 - moderate breeze).
