Awakening Of The Ancestral Flame - A Self-Initiation Into Paganism
Since the dawn of civilization, mankind has had a unquenchable burning deisre to find
something they could worship, or hold as holy. A sort of humility that comes by itself when a
human being, compares himself with greater things in life. Natural y the first thing to have
come to the minds of our ancient ancestors is the Sun. The eternal sofltly glowing giver of
light and life on this beautiful planet. However not only did our Indo-European ancestors
realize this ineffable fact, but also every other pre-judeochristian culture on the entire
planet. Throughout the ages our ancestors represented the various aspects of nature and life
with symbols they held in highest reverence. Symbols such as the Swastyka (representing
the Sun-the most commonly worshipped and holiest of them al ), Walknut, Mjolnir, Perun's
Axe, Kolovrat, Helm of Awe etc. These symbols became embodied in the very DNA fabric, i.
e. the genetic memory of the White European Man, and evetual y became more then
symbols. They became rules to guide thousands of generations to live a higher life. A life of
significance, principle and honour. The ethos and moral codes of the Indo-European nations
were built upon them, and in time they embeded themsleves into the col ective
consciousness of al white people. The very same ethos and principles were also built on the
archetypes of the gods and the images of heroes and demigods. The same gods, heroes and
demigods, which are in many sad cases now lost to the younger generations, and are mostly
viewed by them as stupid empty superstitions, were once in fact a rock solid guiding
principle and foundation for young man and woman to realize their place, obligations and
after al worth in society. It is exactly because of this realisation, that there are far bigger
things around them, that they decided evolve on there own, thus becoming strong and
healthy individuals, in perfect balance with nature.
In a sick degenerate society like the one in which we live today, any sense of worth be it
national, racial or moral is being systematical y destroyed by the major media, political
corectness, capitalism, and by the powerful forms of contemporary art which include music.
The imbecilic ' sex, drug & rock 'n rol ' that is promoted through the major media, and has
been set as the highest ideal a young man can achive in his lifetime. This lifestyle is one of
the key factors that has been kil ing the culture and worth of the White man, and also at the
same time kil ing al other cultures and people. Promoting this brain-dead culture where
money, drugs, easy woman and dishonorable behaviour are the highest and ' coolest' level a
young man can achive is a sign of definitive decay. This is a concept of life bereft of any other
value except material wealth, empty of al pride, ideal and dignity. However the few strong
men are stil alive and wander as cursed spirits amongst us, often feeling extremely
depressed, and at the end isolating themselves from the world completely. These few who
do not wish to participate in the dying, decadent multicultural society in which we live, are
scorned and considered outsiders.

It is hard to imagine such a life for a ' normal' person, especial y an adult, since he has no
time to think how busy he is acumulating enough money to survive. He ends up ignoring his
own children and final y neglecting the childs most powerful instinct. To grow, to find out
and to become more. Al of us were born with the same unquenchable desire for knowlege,
be it dinosaurs or space, we were and some stil are fascinated by the right things to be
fascinated about. It's that just some seem to have forgotten this, the true values. However
the true values lie within us - within our spirits and blood. Domrmant but dreaming, and
never dead. Uncounciously guided by the symbolic principles of our own race, we need to
stir the memory within our blood to awaken the ancestral warrior spirit sleeping, in our very
own subconscious. The process of reawakening, this genetic memory has already begun, and
is in fact taking place right in front of us as we speak. Through one's own subconscious, we
can access an abyssmal amount of inspiration and wisdom. The actual thoughts of our
ancestors live through us, often comming to us in an intuitive form.
The Jewish physichist Albert Einstein saw this as a common flaw in contemporary soceity,
that completely ignores this notion and said - "The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the
rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has
forgotten the gift ". The intuitive mind is a door that holds al of the ancestral arcane
mysteries of the Indo-European people, while our wil power and self-discipline is the key
that wil eventual y unlock al of it's wonders. Unlocking this has already once take place,
through the Volkisch movements in Germany in the 19th centuary, mostly being inspired by
Richard Wagner's music. In his music people once again found a forgotten source of moral
ispiration. Role models such as Parsifal & Sigfried once again lived in the popular imagination
of the people, and the old beliefs were brought back to memory. Sadly, the inspiration
drawn from these ancient religions, did not reach out of these movements, that were
hermetical y sealed from the outside and limited to a few. The attempt to bring them back
into the public eye was made by the German National-Socialist Workers Party which
promoted the study of runes, and the revitalization of ancient pagan rituals i.e. summer
solstice, winter solstice. It did not last. But hope is far from lost, as are our ancient traditions.
Today we are witnessing a real pagan renaissance amongst the youth. Thousands of young
people such as myself, who were in most cases inspired by metal music, reject christianity ,
and choose to go on their own path. This is an ancestral way of life that unfolds it's arcane
mystery & beauty. And amongst the thousands of pagan communities that are located in
Europe and North America, the rituals of our forefathers are being cherished in accordance
with the cycles of nature.
The founder of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness A. C. Bhaktivedanta
Swami Prabhupada, also saw this lack of ideal in contemporary soceity, and the lack
guidance through spiritual y and moral y higher examples such as the various Indo-European
heroes, that sadly slumber within us and within history written books. He explanied that this
was part of a bigger event. -' 'Over the last 5000 years the Kali Yuga age has begun... So at

the present moment practical y there are no Brahman, Kshatriya, no Vaishya, only Sudras -
only the fourth class men. So you cannot expect any happiness delivered by the fourth class
men. Therefore, throughout the world there is chaotic condition... So this is essential, that
the human society be divided into four divisions. The Brahman class means the first class and
the ideal man. So that by seeing their character, their behavior, others wil try to fol ow.'
And instead of presenting and creating worthy and respectable role models for the comming
generations such as Nikola Tesla, Leonardo Da Vinci, Ludwig Van Beethoven, Alexander The
Great, Socrates and many more Brahman type European men & woman whose names
should be carved in gold in the Temples of our Race for their noble deeds, our modern men
delivered us degenerate, drug addicted lowlives who promote consumerism, materialism,
and no sense of racial or national worth. The Sudras who captivate us in a cursed circle of
perpetual misery and emptiness are set as the goal worthy of achievement; they get the
attention of the public's eye only, while the media is systematical y ignoring the intel igent
and educated people and their accomplishments. It is this inverted system of values, in
which it is sinful and wrong to be proud of the accomplishments, of one's own ancestors,
that decadent and auto-destructive behavior is being born.
The American Indian Chief Seattle, who saw this unbalanced and hedonistic, Sudras - guided
way of life as a disease that needed to be cured, wrote the fol owing to President Franklin
Pierce already in 1854: ' You must teach your children that the ground beneath their feet is
the ashes of our grandfathers. So that they wil respect the land, tel your children that the
Earth is rich with the lives of our kin. Teach your children what we have taught our children,
that the Earth is our mother. Whatever befal s the Earth befal s the sons of the Earth. Man
did not weave the Web of Life, he is merely a strand in it. Whatever he does to the Web, he
does to himself.' They forgot to teach us to take pride in the achivements of our ancestors
i.e. our race, and in that pride to express sincere greatfulness to them. After al these
accomplishments were and stil are gifts given to us.
As I child I didn't feel quite attached to anything of this world except of course my parents. I
was born in an atheist familiy with no religious background, and yet I felt searching for
something spiritual from my early age. Something I can completely relate to on a level
transcending al of my souraundings, a sort of mental safe-haven. I often felt lonely and
empty in a spiritual sense, yet I knew how to comfort myself. I would ussualy slip through a
bathroom window and climb onto my neighbours roof as a child, and stare at the stars on
warm, clear, summer nights, with an unrelenting honest smile upon my face. I would
Imagine them singing, playing, me flying between them and talking to them, they would tel
me stories about colourful worlds, full of extraoridinary beings. This was truly fascinating to
the mind of a child. Worlds with names, places, people. It was more then wonderful, and I
would say that it was there that I felt a great connection with nature and the cosmos for the
first time and an abyssmal amount of peace and serenity within.
An accident happened 10 years later, and I'm not sure if it real y was an accident or
something else. I went to the store with my grandfather that day and he bought me a
strategic table game based on al the myths of Indo-European peoples. And with the
numorous figures of the soldiers and horses, there were figures of the gods which could be
summond upon the battlefield as powerful al ies. I played the game with a good freind of
mine, and after a couple of hours of great fun he went home, and I found myself staring at

the figures of those gods, completely mesmerized by the figures of the various cultures that
arose during Antiquity. And although they al looked the same and were just in different
colours it was the names that seemed to captivate my mind. Thor, Set, Zeus, Odin, Ra,
Hades, Freya, Hekate, Loki, Osiris. And as I looked at them for some time, I just found myself
instinctivly, lightinig up the candels and incese sticks and placing the figures on a smal box I
decorated myself. I felt such awe and humility in front of these images of the gods,
something so familiar and welcoming at the same time. And I put the candels around the
statues and stared at them without a single word being uttered al evening. The next day I
told that freind about my experiance and he said the same thing so I gave him his own set of
god - figures. We talked about worshipping ancient Greek gods and how those old beliefs
were ' cooler' than Christianity . I realized what went on that night actual y a just a year ago.
And although I was only 11 years old I knew these figures had a special apeal to me, the
worship of these archetypes was within me. The archetypes of the Sky god, the War god, the
Magic godess and the God of Death laid dormant within my blood, within the very DNA
fabric in my body.

Magic godess and the God of Death laid dormant within my blood, within the very DNA
fabric in my body.
The Swiss psychiatrist and the founder of analytical psychology Carl Gustav Jung said ' Who
has ful y realized that history is not contained in thick books but lives in our very blood?' .
With that quote I would like to emphisize that this kind of pagan spiritual awakening on a
personal level which I witnessed through the example given above, is the most important
one, because it comes natural y by itself and changes everything bulit thus far in a persons
characther and interests. After this event took place my interests turned to the various
myths of my kin and inspired me to start reading about them, and to this day the same
interest remains of course. A relation with pagan based fantasy ficiton such as ' The Lord Of
The Rings' & ' Conan' (The 1982 & 1984 version only!) was born on first sight. The strong

conncetion with the pre-christian Indo-European culture was born within me long before I
could comprehand what it's true meaning was, but today it is crystal clear. Through this
spiritual pagan renaissance that is occuring al across the world, we who chose to commit
ourselves to the ancestral ways, must always bear in mind the notion, that it is exactly we
who are supossed to be the Brahman, the ideal bearer. The hardest role lies with us, to seek
out the spirits, and to il uminate them with our work. Be it an essay like this or a song, a
book or a painting , it al is a step forward in a journey in which we cannot turn back. A
journey in which we not only honor our ancestors and culture, but also a spiritual journey in
which we grow and learn. It is a journey that lasts a lifetime, and through self - evelution &
moral betterment we make a better world.
What once was (in religious terms) a unbreakable monolithic source of culture and tradition,
to this day stil exists. Paganism never actual y died out, nor could it ever die out. It breathes
silently through our blood. It's death wil come only with the death of our race. A eternal
wel of inspiration, such as the native beliefs of the Indo-European people cannot be easily
extinguished. That is why the revolution within the self is the most important of them al ,
because nothing can extinguish the ancestral flames once they are lit. And once the hearts of
al men of Indo-European descent are lit, they wil spread like a fire, thus purifying our lands,
and clensing it from any tradition or godly image alien to it's own. Do not abandon your
ideals,fight for them!
"As if written in the snow the lies shal melt away, by the wheel of sun to cross the sky this
day. Shadows may lay heavy upon the earth, but the truth - cut deep in stone - wil last til
the heavens comes tumbling down upon this world." - Tomas Forsberg-Quorthon
