Tips on How to Ask a Girl on a Date
A lot of men find it difficult how to ask a girl on a date. Although they find this a challenging task, going
out on a date is one of the things they want to do most. Here are steps on asking a girl out to make it
more relaxing.
Break the Ice
If you have just seen the girl for the first time, go up to her, introduce yourself and find a way to
compliment her. You can say she looks pretty or she has a great outfit on. If you already know the girl,
you can approach her and chat for a moment. When you take the time to talk with her, you will know if
you want to spend more time with her. The technique is to break the ice first and get to know her
better.
During your initial conversation, know what her interests are. Ask her about her hobbies, talents, skills
and activities she loves doing. If the girl is a stranger to you, you can play a guessing game where you
will take a guess on her likes and dislikes. If you guess wrong, at least you will get the conversation
going.
If you see that she is having fun with the conversation, start dropping hints about going out together. If
she says she likes action movies, you can tell her that you do too and it would be great if you watch a
movie together. If she scoffs at you, she is not interested. If she says yes, it is time to proceed to the
next step.
Ask for her number and then inform her you would like to see her again. You can ask her for that movie
date or ask her if you can accompany her to any event you think she would enjoy. When you ask the girl
on a date, do it casually. Do not just drop the bomb on her but say it in a conversational manner.
When the date is set, plan it out carefully. Know where you will take her and when it would be. Once
everything is set, call the girl again. Introduce yourself once more and chat for a while. Invite her again
to that date. Remember not to ask her out on a date via email or personal messaging on the internet.
If you still have no idea where to take her, try the movies. Watching movies together is a good start
because not much conversation is needed. You can also go to a sporting event, a concert or an art
exhibit. Have dinner with her afterwards. If she declines, ask her if she has a conflicting schedule. You
need to know if she is not interested in you so that you would not waste your time by asking her
continuously.
Never take it personally when the girl refuses your invitation. You can continue speaking to her for a
while. Thank her for her time and leave. If you take her rejection politely, she will appreciate you all the
more and may even become interested in you. If this is a person you know from friends or from work,
take time to know her more. This may make her like you eventually and may say yes on your next
invitation.

first dates have such interruptions. However if these interruptions last long, it just means she does not
want to continue speaking to you. End the conversation as politely as you can, ask for the bill and drive
her home or hail a cab for her.
